Introduction

Welcome to the PS Maker documentation. These guides are here to help you learn the editor and build your own 2D top-down story-driven games.

Whether you are just getting started or looking up a specific feature, you can use this documentation as a reference whenever you feel stuck.

PS Maker is a no-code game maker designed for building 2D top-down story-driven games. If you are new to game development, it gives you approachable tools like the map editor, actions, and events so you can tell immersive stories without needing to code.

If you are coming from another engine, you will find that PS Maker focuses specifically on storytelling features, so you can spend less time configuring and more time creating.

  • Map editor references to build your world with tilesets, autotiles, objects, and collisions
  • Action and event docs for gameplay logic, interaction triggers, and branching stories
  • Guide pages with walkthroughs for common mechanics
  • Start with Actions and Events
  • Use search to quickly find topics or reference pages
  • Join our Discord community if you need help or want to share ideas

PS Maker is currently in late-stage beta. Features are being refined and bugs may appear. If you run into issues, please let us know by submitting a bug report or feature request!
